About Health Science Made Easy

In this already overcrowded blogosphere, with so many blogs around on any topic that one may be able to recollect, what is the need for another one blog? Below we explain the reasons for starting this blog.

Beating diseases has been one of the major goals of human civilization. In the case of a few of them, like Small Pox and Polio we have been completely successful. For others, the success story may not be as great, but, substantial progress has been made against most other diseases known to mankind. However, preventing diseases or their complications is not easy. It requires a sound knowledge of various aspects of the disease and the right application of this knowledge and the right resources. One may agree that understanding health science is generally a hard job.  Interestingly, Health sciences have a lot of differences from other sciences. There are very few "laws" in the health sciences. Things are usually determined by a large number of factors, often referred to as "Multi-factorial". It is usually difficult to "forecast and generalize".  Moreover, predictions may turn out to be very different from the actual results. Furthermore, healthcare carries a huge burden of billions of hopes and expectations. Every healthcare model has its own sets of challenges. The people who use healthcare, are mostly unhappy, so are the planners, policymakers, providers, and payers with the system. The journey towards an ideal healthcare service is endless! But it does not stop one from trying to sort and fix things.

Health blogs attempt to fill the knowledge gap and are often published with complex knowledge. On this aspect, any serious blog on health cannot afford to compromise. Various publishers and authors try their best to present healthcare concepts in easy and simple approaches. But, many times, the available health blogs are overwhelmed with opinions and conflicts of interest. Health Science Made Easy tries to narrow down the information gap existing between the science and practice of healthcare, in a scientific and unbiased way. This blog will aim to provide the reader with the knowledge that is needed to empower yourself against the fight with diseases and their complications via scientific ways. The scientific ways discussed here would generally be evidence-based interventions and could be both pharmacological or non-drug interventions.

The acquisition of the right knowledge is generally the first step in beating diseases. You would need to plan your health by using this knowledge and by working with your doctor or other healthcare providers. Your comments on our posts are welcome. Please feel free to raise any issue that you may want to discuss while maintaining acceptable community standards. I Wish You Happy Reading and a Healthy Living!
