Why do some people develop colds again and again?

The common cold is caused mostly due to viruses. 

There can be many reasons for its repeated occurrence. I am sharing some of the main reasons for its repeated occurrence below.

Age: Both extremes of age have weaker immune systems.
Infants can suffer from nasal cold multiple times in their first few years of life. School children can also suffer from these frequently.
Elderly confined to bed are also more likely to suffer from these.

Allergies: People having allergies and asthma suffer from these more commonly.

People with ENT diseases like Deviated nasal septum (DNS), Sinusitis, Tonsillitis are more likely to suffer from these.

People who develop repeated common cold should get themselves checked by an ENT doctor.
